1. Each essay must be:

• (a) original and individual essay,
• (b) written in either Khmer or English,
• (c) between 3-5 pages (A4 size),
• (d) include short summary on the first page,
• (e) Included name, school, age, phone number, e-mail, home address
• (f)Included references (preferable)

2. Each participant can submit only one essay.

3. CSAJ reserves the right to publish the nominated essays.

Selection Process:

• Ten best essays will be viewed and selected by the CSAJ Committee.
• Three winning essays will be chosen from the ten essays by a final jury in Phnom Penh

Grading criteria:

1. Essay : 60 points

• Content
• Supporting Evidence
• Organization
• Accuracy
• Reference

2. Presentation : 40 points

• Verbal Expression
• Q&A
• Eye contact, gesture
• Timing(5mins to 7mins)

Awards:

• 1st place - $200 and winner medal,
• 2nd place - $150 and winner medal,
• 3rd place - $100 and winner medal.

Each finalist will receive a finalist certificate.
